ON THE COVER: Henry D captured Phil Cooper's '66 Nova in motion-it's a bonafide 8-second street cruiser and anything but a trailer queen. Up top, the 402 packing '67 Chevelle SS was shot by associate editor John Nelson with his digital Canon SLR. Art director Dave Conrey made both shoots happen by graciously holding reflectors and jockeying vehicles for the camera monkeys.
