SPORTS CARS ILLUSTRATED 1959 FEB - ABARTHS, OSCA 1100
This hard to find magazine became Car & Driver in 1961 and is listed as Vol. 5, No. 8. Somehow SCI got their numbering system off because this issue is actually Vol. 4, No. 8. It took them almost a year to catch their mistake.
The cover picture is of John Milos in an OSCA & DeTomaso in an OSCA 1100.
Within this issue you will discover the following topics:
1) The latest GT cars from Europe
2) The new Abarth Bialbero 750 & Pinifarina Abarth 750
3) Testing the Abarth convertible & coupe
4) Tech Questions & Answers
5) A tribute to Dick Seaman
6) Ignition analyzers
7) A tech report on the new OSCA 1100 with cutaway drawing
8) The Salon De l' Automobile--Paris
9) Letters to the Editor
10) A track report on the Cooper Mk XI Formula III
11) Understanding the workings of Webers
12) Steam cars
Plus other sports car related topics.
