Horsepower can be as much visual as it is actual when it comes to building a custom tide. Never has this been more true than with the latest generation small-blocks. From an esthetical standpoint, in stock form they leave a lot to be desired. Not so with the powerplant on this month's cover. The LS6-based Mouse from Gen III features one trick set of velocity-stacks to go along with the hot AFR cylinder heads. Andrew "dress 'em up" Schear went to great pains to get the color just tight for this awesome shot. And the picture does do the engine justice. Just check out the details on page 120. And if a big small-block is your cup of tea, you'll love the flavor of our World Products'-built 454 maxi-Mouse. You can see the first part of its build process beginning on page 73.
Plus many other hot Chevy topics.
